Making money by writing and submitting articles

Article distribution is one of the most powerful ways of promoting your site. You can either write or have written articles about your products. There are a variety of different types of articles you can use, but one of the most popular is informative articles. Another popular article type is a product review.

Distribution: You can do this manually and find all the article directories and libraries etc online, and then manually submit your article. This is free but very time consuming. You can use software, which is a little limited or you can use a good service that will cover a wide variety of lists and directories.

Before you submit your articles, be very sure that you have a good bio box that will allow your readers to click through to your website.

Article submission will help your business in several ways. Here are a few of them:

Establish you as an expert in your field: This will gain you more trust and credibility, and will encourage more clicks through and sales.
Create back links: These links will increase your Page Rank with Google and allow you to get a better position in their search engine.
It will also bring more people to your website through the links.

You can either write your own articles or have someone write them for you. Another way is to take advantage of free content from MoreNiche. You can join this site for free and they will send you fresh articles every week.

Modifying the articles for your use: Of course your content will need to be original, so you would need to rewrite the articles for your own use. You can also just use the ideas and write a brand new article. These articles will be very useful for you, as it will save you hours of research and writing. They will also keep you up to date with various new trends in your industry.

Using articles to make money

Looking through the universe of online affiliate marketing, you’ll notice that most sites fall into two categories. There are sites that simply have a list of links to other sites that sell products. You’ll notice that these sties come up often in web searches on Google or Yahoo, but they don’t seem very useful since all they have is other links and no actual content of their own.

The other kind of affiliate site is the kind that you want. It is a site that has all the same links that the others do, but it also has content. Now, what does “content” mean, anyway? Content is simply an internet term that means articles or information on a web page. Why do affiliate sites that use content work better than those that don’t? It’s simple.

If you click on a site, say, a site about growing roses, which would you rather find? A list of links that you have no idea if they are any good or not or if they even link to a reputable company? Or an informative, well written article about growing roses that has a link at the bottom for a company that, while you still don’t know if they are trustworthy or not, the person who wrote this content thinks so and they sure sound like they know what they are talking about. Which one do you think does better sales every month? Exactly. The site that uses articles.

This is the number one reason why you should be knowledgeable about the products you wish to sell. It will be a million times easier to write content that sounds like it was written by an expert if you know your way around your product. If a web surfer stumbles upon your site, finds your articles well written, informative and fun and then sees a link to buy a product related to the article, your chances of making money off of that customer go up 100 times. The big secret to affiliate marketing isn’t a magic formula or miracle catchphrase. It’s well written content.

There are even companies out there that will write content for you, for a small fee. It may seem like a silly thing to invest in on the surface, but once you see the hard numbers that show how much better affiliate sites do with content then without, you’ll be on board in no time flat.

How to write articles to boost sales

If you’ve been checking out this series of articles, you’ve seen how important it is for any serious affiliate marketer to have good web content. Good content can mean the difference between someone clicking onto your site and clicking away a moment later and someone staying for a while and then clicking through to buy the product or service you’re trying to sell. But what if you just aren’t a very good writer? What if your mind is programmed for business, not English. Don’t worry, there are options for you.

Search the public domain. There are millions of articles that are currently in the public domain that you can use on your web site free of charge. A simple web search can bring up hundreds of these kinds of articles. And the best part is you can edit them, change them, alter them or do whatever you want to them so that they sound exactly like you want them to. You don’t have to worry about paying any authors or stepping on any toes. This is an excellent way to go if you don’t want to write content yourself.
You can pay companies to write content for you, and in most cases, it’s cheaper than you think. When you consider how important good web content is, paying someone a few dollars to write exactly what you need isn’t such a bad idea. Of course, some companies charge more than others and it always pays to shop around, but don’t shut yourself off to the idea of paying for content. Sometimes you have to spend money to make money and this is one of those cases if you don’t want to write your own web content.
Maybe the best choice of the three is to simply read and learn. Spend a week or two clicking around on the Internet and reading the web content on other affiliate websites. Take as much of that content in and then try to write in a similar style about the product you’re trying to sell. You don’t instantly become the best writer in the world this way, but studies have shown that the more you read, the better writer you’ll be. Experience pays and the more you know about how to write in this style, the easier it will be.

Having solid web content can’t be overstated. You will never have a truly successful affiliate marketing website unless you have good content. If you can’t write it yourself, you do have other options, but the best thing you can do is to learn how to write in this style. It will be an investment that will pay off time and time again.

The term Blogging Tory refers to any one of the many authors affiliated with the conservative Canadian community known as The Blogging Tories. Today, there are over a hundred and fifty text-based blogs associated with the group, and there are new Blogging Tories every day. The Tories stand as an inspiring example of a successful online community where the ever-increasing numbers of affiliated members enjoy a fertile environment for discussion and debate about the ideas that shape the face of Canada.

The majority of Tory bloggers do make political events and topics the focus of their blogs, but not all of the content that a Blogging Tory creates and publishes is overtly related to the movements of the Canadian parliament or the prime minister. Although the community members were brought together by a shared conservative viewpoint, the fact that not all of the postings on all of the member’s blogs focus on political topics is one of the most exciting things about the Blogging Tories. On any given day, the main website’s blogroll may feature postings about Olympic medalists, a James Bond film festival in Quebec, or a comical personal experience with a telemarketer. The idea that having a political affiliation in common makes it possible to have a fruitful discussion about other kinds of topics has interesting implications for how online communities are established and how they grow.

Protect Your Sites from SPAM!!!

Another days goes by and there’s SPAM all over the place. :angry:
Have you ever got tired of deleting all of those SPAM? Well, I’ve found a cure! :w00t:
It eliminates all the SPAM and I don’t have to see it anymore. No more deleting or editing the SPAM comments. I’ve found this great plugins that works with WordPress and some other platform like phpBB, vBulletin, SMF, Typepad etc.

Igor Berger is the author of the plugins and he is the president of IVB IT SOLUTIONS . He has created this wonderful plugins called PHSDL ™ that will remove all the SPAM in your comments. For example, If the posting message is flaged with a SPAM domain, the poster is redirected to Project Honeypot Spam Domains Hot List with a warning that the Spammer domain has been caught! So it will not appear in our blog SPAM list. That makes my life much more easier. No more SPAM to delete, it’s just not there to be deleted.
You can give it a try here. Just put any of the domain listed in the Project Honeypot Spam Domains Hot List in your comment here and you’ll see what I mean. :devil:

Let’s CELEBRATE!!! :devil: I’ve just been informed by our Admin here at JunkieYard Dot Com that our sites (and I mean our sites) have been promoted by Google … I say what? :shocked: He told me that our sites PR has been changed to PR 3!!! What a shock… :w00t:

Here’s a little story of our Network history… We’ve created this domain just a few month ago, that is on the first month of 2008… In January to be exact… For the first day we got no PR at all but we got it indexed in Google and other Search Engine under 24 hours period… What’s the catch? There’s no catch… Just do it the right way and you too can be indexed by Google under 24 hours period…

After that we created our Business website at MyMode Prepaid JunkieYard Dot Com (For Malaysian only) and then I ask the Admin to create a personal blog for me here… :tongue: And he did it… Thanks to our Admin … After a month of struggle submitting our sites to the search engine and building a backlink to our sites… We got a rank! PR 0 in February… Not so excited… :getlost: We figure out that we need to make a big drastic changes… So we’ve created another service… JunkieYard Dot Com Link Exchange Network … Just started it last month… (March) Just a month old… AND LOOK WHERE WE ARE NOW!!! Nearly all of our sites got PR 3 in a month… :w00t: except for my personal blog … That’s OK… I didn’t have time to maintain it afterall… You should try it… Get your own automated free link exchange service here …
